The Elks held a solemn memorial in the lodge room for four members who died in the past year Leo Te Bueckmiller George Wieglenworth Michael Morris and William Nar Dutalin. Attorney Frank T Healey of Waterbury delivered the eulogy calling the services the most solemnly beautiful and impressive. Music featured a choir and soloists with readings and an altar service. Rev Donald L Kent delivered the invocation and the service closed with Auld Lang Syne. The event was organized by Paul and Louis Buckmiller with several others assisting.
