Four Die as Train Hits Auto in Bordentown Crossing
Four people including George W Whey of Burlington New Jersey his son Frank and his wife and daughter aged three were killed when their small touring car stalled on a grade crossing in Bordentown New Jersey. A Pennsylvania Railroad train bound for Camden struck the auto as it stalled in the roadway killing all four occupants instantly. The train halted several hundred yards away and the coroner ordered the bodies removed to Bordentown morgue. The accident occurred near the Point where the Camp Dix branch meets the Trenton division with the train carrying soldiers onboard.
