Five Killed In Holiday Connecticut Traffic Fatalities
Five people died in Connecticut traffic crashes during the four day Thanksgiving weekend. One victim was Donald Joseph Hicks 31 known as Donald Robertson the convicted murderer who escaped a Massachusetts prison in August. He died in a Derby crash shortly after midnight Thursday while driving. Hicks had been serving two life sentences for a 1966 double murder in Boston. Authorities initially mistook him for Walter J. Barnett of Oklahoma City before confirming Hicks identity.

The parked car owner is Patrick DeTullio of 50 Deepwood Rd police said.
