Naugatuck Passenger Station will host eight daily trains to the metropolis this summer. The timetable includes 7.15 am 12.42 pm and other daily departures on Sundays, with returning arrivals at 9.42 am and 6.40 pm.
Naugatuck Boy Scouts battle tent caterpillars in a district drive to aid defoliated trees. Mrs Frank J Bradbury sent a donation and urged others to join. A separate Brooklyn accident reports a needle swallowed by a worker, rushed to hospital.

A small airplane forced to land on Prospect Hill near the Naugatuck town line yesterday afternoon, after engine trouble. The Mineola origin craft was bound for Brainard field at Hartford when it struck a stone wall, damaging its running gear. the engine is being repaired at the local flying company’s airdrome.
Applicants for voting privileges must present themselves at the borough court room by 8 o'clock this evening to take the elector's oath. Candidates who fail to qualify by then will be barred from voting in the borough election on May 4. This morning between 9 and 11:30, Selectman and Town Clerk Schiller had little to do, with only four voters examined.
