Beacon Falls hosts a movie show fundraiser featuring Hoot Conan in Broadway or Bust to aid the Fire and Drum corps. Town activities include Knights of Pythias meeting at Top Notch Ball, pool and card tournaments, and a pine billiard tournament with prizes.
The St Francis Po A RB Diam corps will not host Easter Monday ball this year after twenty one years. Members shift effort to the 40th annual state parade convention and ball set for July 3 and August 1 in Connecticut, under the Connecticut Fifers and Drummers association.

Raymond Lodge becomes varsity basketball manager next season, while Coach Foley focuses on developing players. The season’s end spotlight fell on Leary and a roster including Linskey, Linsk, Lyman, Kierman, Weaving, Olson, Dibbons, Daley, Patterson, and Anderson.
