Nashua High Nine to Play in District Tourney Opener
Nashua high school prepares for the district tournament at Elma with an opening game against Nora Springs at 9 a.m. Thursday. A win would pit them in the semifinals against the winner of Northwood vs. another rival. The team earned the district berth by taking two of three from Lawler for the county title, and recently beat Plainfield 10 to 0 after Plainfield briefly led in the first half of a later game. Robert Fisher and Demro pitched for Nashua, with Blanchard taking the mound in the win over Plainfield.

The plot follows Patsy the younger sister who is blamed for mishaps while her sister shines, her father supports her, and Patsy ultimately wins happiness marrying her beloved.
