Mrs Wesley Jones Nes died Wednesday at Charles City hospital after being taken there Saturday. Funeral services tentatively set for Saturday afternoon in Nashua with burial in Greenwood cemetery beside her husband who died in 1921. Survivors include daughters in law Mrs Van Bomwoyeil and Mrs Mont Cagley and son Roy Jones of Washington DC. she raised her daughter Gladys and remained with her to care for her. Carl Janssen Dies at 58 in Nashua
Carl Janssen 58 died of pneumonia at University Hospital. Funeral services were held at Hauser Funeral Home on Monday afternoon. He worked for the Oliver Corporation since 1943, resigned weeks ago due to health. He is survived by wife Louise, seven children, nine grandchildren, seven siblings, and a host of relatives. Burial followed at Sunnyside Memorial Garden with St John Lutheran officiating.

New Man-Size Milk Tank Installed at Nashua Creamery
A new milk receiving tank at Nashua Cooperative Creamery holds 46 060 pounds of milk and weighs 5 050 pounds empty. A concrete foundation several feet thick supports the stainless steel tank built with a large access door for inside cleaning. Manager Larry Asnesan describes the setup while electrician Den Eberiing works on wiring near the bullt man-size access door and agitator mechanism with a high horsepower propeller inside.

Talent Show Set for 1957 Big Four Fair Ashua

Banker Robert Gossard reported that between 250 and 300 people were served at the Dairy Smorgasbord in the First Nashua State Bank on Saturday June 15. He estimated that 50 dozen cookies seven gallons of milk and corresponding cheese and crackers were served by the 4 H girls.
