Former Nashua Girl Robbed in Chicago After Knockdown
Miss Ione Bradford, 10225 Elizabeth Street, was knocked down and robbed at 104th Street and Prospect Avenue last Friday evening around six. She, returning from a friend's house, noticed a man tailing her but kept moving. The assailant struck her, leaving her unconscious for about fifteen minutes and severely stunned. Bradford, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jas. W. Bradford, formerly Nashua residents, described a vague sighting and noted a lost streetcar ticket book containing one dollar.

Nashua high school defeated New Hampton by two to one on the question of compulsory military training for all able bodied men before age 21. The Nashua team, in its first-ever debate, impressed judges Supt. Tyler of Greene, Supt. Lapham of New Hampton, and Supt. Tiss of Cresco with disciplined argument and strong rebuttals.

A new Iowa ruling lets refund claims be filed for higher registration charges when early car purchases predated the state price schedule. County treasurers must collect the schedule fee but owners may affidavits to prove lower listed prices and request refunds through the executive council.
