The Endeavor social at the Congregational parsonage drew many attendees with games and music. Parents supported the event, a small fee was charged, and refreshments were served, raising about five dollars.
Rumors claim changes to passenger trains No. 403 and No. 406 due around January 1908. Expected to run Waterloo to Albert Lea with new connections, arriving later in the morning and earlier in the evening.

Mr Charlea Emmons and Miss Maud Hughbunks surprised friends by marrying in New Hampton on Wednesday after noon. Rev Robinson performed the ceremony at the M E parish, with a shy wedding at home that evening. The groom, son of John Emmons, is a young farmer. the bride is capable and well regarded.
Lucile Finkdey, nearly a year old, suffered ongoing nasal soreness until a doctor’s examination revealed a cork lodged high in her nostril. The obstruction was removed and the girl improved, with parents believing she placed the cork there during play.
A one year old boy inserted a diamond shaped glass piece into his ear while playing. The object was removed with considerable difficulty by a physician.
The golden wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. L. H. Weller was marked at their Greenwood Villa home near Nashua on December 1. Guests filled the house, the couple's daughters Mrs. Mamie E. Weller and Mrs. E. Willett assisted, and Dr. L. H. Goodale presented a chair as a keepsake. Mr. Weller recalled a fifty year marriage as guests applauded with music, dancing, and a plentiful repast prepared by Miss Mamie E. Weber and helpers.
