R J Bazant of Narka Kansas sold 66 head of branded Hereford steers averaging 1480 pounds at 17 50 today. A prior spring sale fetched the same price for 20 Kansas steers averaging 1618 pounds. Bazant bought the lot last October at 10 40 a head, weighing 1040 pounds with a 440 pound gain and 7 10 feed margin.
