Miss Alma Wailes visited in Belleville Saturday and Frank Kramer was a Belleville business visitor Saturday. Bruce Wells of Mahaska helped at Smith’s barbershop Friday. Mr and Mrs Elmer Joy spent Sunday with their parents A W Joy and family. A N Kennedy went to Lincoln Saturday morning to accompany Mrs Kennedy home. Chas Taina from east of Mahaska visited the A Lax home. Lester Dettman went to Scandia Saturday and visited Joe Jennings in town Sunday. Miss Jennie Conwell went to Belleville Friday night for a few days with her sister Mrs Hill. Mr and Mrs Chas Melker came from Lincoln Saturday for a visit with their father A Lax and at the Joe Fiser and Chas Tuma homes east of town. Mrs Meller plans to stay about a month.
