Narrow Escape From Fire at Blakesley Home
The Blakesley home north of town nearly burned Friday night when flames erupted in the kitchen. The family fought the blaze with water, saving the structure but destroying clothing and damaging walls and floor. Origin traced to an incubator and repairs will be needed before the kitchen is usable again. Wm Hirons visited town last week and reports feeling better after treatment in Lincoln.
