The first quarterly conference of the Methodist church will be held in the Narka church on May 9 at 2 00 p m All official members are requested to attend. Epworth League notes state last Sunday's lesson stirred interest and outline next Sunday's topic Framing God's Compassion into Laws led by Co. L Ward. Immediately after service the League installs new officers for the gaming year during the regular church hour with a large crowd urged to attend. The cabinet held its monthly meeting at the Muth home Tuesday evening.
The league schedules a social next Tuesday evening May 12 at H A Hall's farm. Also noted is the installation of officers on Sunday evening and a special invitation to attend.

Cole Bros Overland Shows will exhibit at Narka on Friday May 8 with two performances. Afternoon show at 9:00 and night show at 8:00 doors open one hour before. Admission 25 cents for adults and 15 cents for children under ten. Rain or shine.
