School Closes Amid Community Visit at Albion

Friday April 96, Mr E Nelson of Republic City closed a month term of school at Albion schoolhouse. About noon 15 to 20 patrons gathered on the porch with pails and dishpans to surprise the teacher. Dinner followed with ice cream prepared by Mr and Mrs Hubba, then KE Crammerlake entertained with a grapho phone as the crowd cheered for Mr Nelson and the school before adjournment.

Pawnee County Farm Sale to Republic County Buyers

The Pawnee County Kansas sale reports about 1600 acres sold to Republic County buyers in April.
