Obituary of Rachel Harris who lived across several states
Rachel Harris born March 28 1838 in Ohio lived with parents in Indiana from 1841 and moved to Boone County Iowa in 1854. She married John H. Thomas in 1855, farm near Boone, moved to Kansas in 1877, survived by three sisters two brothers ten children forty eight grandchildren and many friends. She was a longtime M E church member and endured long illness with faith in God.
