The state board of health asks the State Public Utilities Commission to order railroads and express companies to place butter milk cream and eggs in shade immediately on arrival at depots or warehouses. The aim is to prevent spoilage by sun and heat and require swift, shaded handling within ten minutes of train arrival.
The entertainment committee is making elaborate preparations for the Fourth of July in Narka. Authorities expect a big crowd and are coordinating activities to provide ample entertainment.
