Soldier Russell Preble Dies in Arkansas
Russell C. Preble son of Mr and Mrs James Preble of Agenda Republic County died at Fort Pike Arkansas on Sunday December 16 1917 from pneumonia He was about twenty five and among Republic counties drafted men sent to training camps two months ago Funeral plans in Agenda were delayed as the body had not arrived by Thursday morning so funeral time could not be announced yet Burial is planned for Ida cemetery.
