Death of Catherine Dovel in Republic County Kansas
Catherine A Dovel born Rockingham Virginia September 16 1827 died at home near Munden Kansas December 6 1915 aged 88 years 2 months 22 days. She married St Clair Dovel June 30 1850 and had nine children six survive. The family moved from Nemaha Nebraska to Republic County in 1883 and resided there. She joined the Church of the Brethren in 1854 and remained loyal. Funeral at home Wednesday 11 am conducted by Ed E D Stewart. Interment Ida Cemetery beside her husband May 15 1911.
