Republic County Fair Opens With New Township Exhibits
The Eighth Annual Republic County Fair runs September 10 to 13, 1912 with a new township Exhibits feature and 150 dollars in premiums for top displays. Daily ball games at 10 a.m. award a batter’s high average with a loving cup from HH L Pierce, on display at Pierce Jewelry in Belleville. Prof Longren will perform aviator demonstrations on September 11 12 and 13 with two links each day and twenty minute shows nightly. Season tickets four dollars admit all days.

Hall’s Annual Reunion of KE W Hall Relatives Held
The Association of Kansas relatives of KE W Hall met at the Hall Home on Thursday August 15 1912 for their seventh annual reunion. Rain kept some away but attendees enjoyed a welcome meal short business and greetings. New members Mrs Alice Joy and Masters Charles Hiatt and Wesley Coonrod joined. Talks on the association mission and faithfulness duties were given by Mr and Mrs Hooker. Lawn games were omitted and the gathering included singing and conversation with listed attendees.
