Family Reunion At Bentley Home Recalls Four-Year Gap
A pleasant family reunion gathered Wednesday at the home of Mr and Mrs Joseph Bentley. All their children and grandchildren enjoyed a bountiful supper and an evening together. It marked the first time in four years the family was all present, with plans for closer future gatherings. Present were Mr and Mrs T C Bentley and daughter Altha of Bushnell Nebraska Mr and Mrs A N Kennedy and son Joe Mr and Mrs R M Shimp and Mr and Mrs Li J Cossaart.

Auto Accident Brings Suit in Republic County
A $7500 damages suit filed in District Court of Republic County names Joseph Johnson a minor by Oscar Johnson his next friend against J M Sigsbee liveryman of Scandia. The six year old alleges being struck at a street crossing by Sigsbee’s car and dragged under the wheels causing injuries head shoulders back and a severe nervous shock.
