Notice of intended timber lease near Central Lake Alberni District

T W Patterson and M H Cowan announce that 30 days from April 20 1889 they will apply to the Chief Commissioner of Lands and Works for leases to lumber on several tracts around Central Lake and nearby Kieecoot Lake in the Alberni District Vancouver Island. The notice lists six lakefront claims with precise starting points and boundary lines and identifies the applicants in Victoria BC. May 1, 1889.

City Council Deliberates on Salvation Army Hall Use
