Shipping news reports Steamship Alki departed yesterday morning for San Francisco carrying 1010 tons of coal from V. Co. extensive movements include Siemalito Empire loading coal at Departure Bay and Bark Bundaleer twelve days out for East Wellington coal bound for San Francisco. Revenue steamer Sir Janes Douglas anchored briefly off Johnsons wharf then left. Rustler moved M Ireland's camp to Malispina Inlet from Cortez Island with timber and carried passengers J Haslam and others aboard.
