Kootenay Smelting Prospect Promises Major Ore Output
The Victoria promoter Mr Davies leads a new Kootenay project at Pilot Bay with four 100 ton smelter stacks planned. The site will process lead and copper ores, include a 300 ton sampling plant and 200 ton concentrator, and produce pig lead and refined metals. Two harbors, 700 acres, and railway divisional points back the venture as demand for medium grade ores rises. The Ruby Silver and Noble Five extensions will be developed immediately.
