At the Valley Drifters Home Extension Unit meeting on Sept 19 at Charli Robeson’s home the skit Any Body Listening was presented by Colleen Arnzen and Charli Robeson with cast including Jean Davenport, Vi Kohanes, Jeane Stoltz and Jeane Davenport. A Q and A session followed with guest Diane Brown. Jeane Stoltz won a door prize. Potluck lunch concluded. A Christmas party with Dutch and silent auctions is planned. A regular meeting is set for Oct 17 at Vi Kohanes’s home with Jean Davenport and Mildred King as program leaders.
A local man identified as Nornan beartin was admitted to the Veterans Hospital in Rosd burg for medical tests. Hospital officials did not release further details.
Beta Delta Sorority met Sept 20 at Jan Brown's home. Guest Vicki Robison received a going away gift and a cultural program on Any Day was shown by Cantre Hatton and Joyce Huntley. A wedding shower for Kathy Smith followed. door prize won by Robison. White elephant sale and gifts noted. next meeting Oct 4 at Kathy Stith's home.
