Garden club hosts potluck and talks on gladiolus bulbs

The Garden club met at Mr. and Mrs. Paul Dreuer's home Tuesday night for a six o'clock potluck dinner and a gram ana dla discussion. A. M. Cooper spoke on gladiolus fall bulbs and shrubs, offering instructive guidance for gardeners. Plans to beautify the vacant Presbyterian church lot were discussed pending owner consent.

Death results from attack of paralysis

Mrs. Annis Mille Williams aged 74 beloved wife of W W Williams of Third Street died at 8 a m Wednesday from a paralytic stroke suffered the previous week. Born August 8 1864 in Hancock County Illinois she married William Walter Williams February 25 1883. Seven children survive two daughters and five sons. Funeral held at 2 p m in the Assembly of God church Point with Rev J H Stilton officiating. Burial followed in the Nor id cemetery. The Williamses had long operated a Rock Creek area restaurant and later moved to Bridge Point before returning to Point.
