Rural teachers to hold county meeting on Saturday

Rural teachers of the county gather at the county court room this Saturday September 3 with sessions starting 9 30 a m. Woody Mason and Miss Florence Beardsley will open with talks on testing programs for cops and elementary education. Dr W D Bain Ethel Mealey Walter Dry and Mrs Lela Elrod also speak in the morning session with Rosabelle Brown presiding. A lunch at Odd Fellows hall served by Canteen Corps follows. Mrs Dal King speaks on health association offerings. Afternoon program includes health records teacher study and elementary education with a film Educational Procedure and a discussion period.

Hawaiian Speaks at Rotary Club on Inland Conditions

A. N. Mullin, steel manufacturer from Honolulu, spoke at the noon Rotary Club luncheon at Jack and Jill today about inland conditions. Also attending were two U.S. Navy recruiting officers from Marshfield, who aim to recruit 100,000 men a month. A marriage license was issued this week to James Fred Moulton and Stella Frye, both of Norway.
