Hauling Permit Read Returned After Court Bond

The county court ordered an 860 cash bond for Russell MA Train of Myrtle Pont as a condition to obtain a permit to haul logs on county roads. The permit would cover routes from Yankee Run Creek and Market road 1-B to Market road 1-A then Highway 42 at the North Fork trestle. The court noted Train had finished operations for the year and roads are in satisfactory condition.

Bobkits Rally to Defeat North Bend 20 13

Be Eeete with cheme ionship. Dinishfield junior high finished second with two wins and one laps. North Bend was third with one win and two lessees and Coquille played cellar football with no wins and three defeats. A yard run for a touchdown in the first three minutes started the Bobkits on their march. North Bend added a TD and conversion to lead 7 6 after one. Hargens to Gouley for a North Bend TD in the second. Myrtle Palmt broke free for a long run to tie 13 18 late in the third. In the final quarter the Bobkits scored again for the 20 13 victory.

Rotarians Prize Attendance Draw At County Club Meeting

Myrtle Peint led attendance at a county Rotarians gathering held at Club Mid iy north of Coquille last week. About one hundred Rotarians attended led by Howard Mickyon of the University of Oregon as pocketball and baseball coach. Roger Duncan crafted a stock and gavel as the attendance prize awarded to Myrtle Point.
