Pleasant Point Oct. 36 Special Sig Eckholm 60 of Coaledo father of Mrs Ellis Southmayd was instantly killed Friday when his auto collided with a highway roller beside the road near Midway service station on the Marshfield Coquille highway in heavy fog He had worked in Coos county 90 years for the Southern Pacific Railroad as a worker and section hand He leaves a widow two sons in service and a daughter attending Coquale High School.
