Hunting accident in Oregon leaves two injured
The report notes Ralph Gigsby of North Bend wounded by his brother in law Harold Watling near Ke mete Rock Creek area on opening day. The bullet struck Gigsby in the back of the head. he was hospitalized in Myrtle Point after aid from the hospital and ambulance. Other hunting deaths include Floyd Motter of Albany, Clint Looney of Estacada, and Harry James White of Salem, all marked as victims on opening day.

Paul Brewer suffered a severe neck and head injury when a cherry tree limb broke while he rested against it outside his barn. His grandson Ritchie Daniels alerted his family after he fell and passed out. A nurse treated a torn ear and he remained in bed the next morning.

A F Arney of Medford will seed an 800 acre Bern on the R H C Lenien farm on North 1 road providing suitable seed, announced by George H Jenskins county agricultural agent.
