Funeral services for Bre. Mary Rylander 88 will be held Saturday at 2 p m from Schroeder chapel. She died in Norway Wednesday and will be interred in Nerway cemetery. Survived by son Rufus of Norway, daughter Mrs Ag Ren Poetterson of Chicago, five nieces and one nephew. Lifelong Lutheran member.
Inings of the football squad will play two ten minute halves with eleven players. Tits is billed as a special attraction. Winners of the first two games will meet in another two sixteen minute halves for first and second place. Officials promise fun and few errors as a novelty event unfolds.
The city announces a suspension of pump house and water system improvements due to bad weather and cement curing delays. Work will resume in the spring and housing for pumps and equipment will be completed at that time.
Charlen F. Morgan of Myrtle Point was fined 100 dollars in city magistrate court for disturbance. Part of the fine was suspended during a six month probation. Morgan was arrested after allegedly causing a disturbance in a local court. Mr and Mrs A D Offley sold Snow White to Mr and Mrs L Lonberry of Chehalis. The new owners take possession Tue Nov 19. Mr Offley plans to stay through the school year due to his daughter in high school.
Next Monday night at 6 30 the Coon County Mert Brotherhood meets at the local Methodist church. Dinner will be served and a program follows.

Pete Gray, owner of Gray's store in Myrtle Point, was elected to the Coos Bay city council at the November 1965 election according to an official ballot count announced this week. He also operates a Bay area store and is well known in Myrtle Point.
Wayne Lloyd, 30, of Myrtle Point, was hospitalized at Belle Knife in Coquille last week after breaking his leg while working in the woods for Hall Creek Lumber Company.
James M. Nichols 44 died last May in a timber accident while viewing operations of the N. F. P. Logging Co. He willed his share valued at about 3600 dollars to his brother and heir, Peer and Heary Meider, with Peer named executor. Nichols was single and the accident occurred near Coquille while overseeing North Lee operations.
