Predatory animal control results on western ranges
Government hunter reports coyote bobcat bear and cougar counts across Neal, Fromm, Woodsley, Jennings and Easley ranges with poison baits and shooting. Bears caused the heaviest losses but stock killings declined as predator numbers fell and December to March poison program reduced coyote numbers notably in Thomas Mountain Cedar Reed and Bone Mountain districts.
