Dies Here Sunday From Bullet Wound
E P Adams aged 63 died at Mast hospital Tuesday morning from a personal safety related bullet wound. He had suffered in recent years after the death of his wife Mabel Adams on March 27 1933. Born March 6 1869 on a farm near Gentryville Indiana he lived in multiple states and regions before settling in Covus county. Survived by four biological and one adopted sister, he left children in California and Indiana. Funeral services held at Schroeder Funeral Home Wednesday June 13 with interment at Norway cemetery.

Truck Crash Dumps Logs Over Grade In Narrow Curve
One Garoutte truck ran off the grade on a Tuesday afternoon while attempting to pass an empty truck on a curved road between the Randleman and Smokey places on Upper Halls wick. The trailer slid over the bank, pulling the truck with it. Both men jumped clear with only minor injuries. the load of logs remained undamaged and the truck was pulled back onto the road the next day.
