Pioneer Woman Dieg At Roseburg
Funeral services will be held at the Rosmabe Undertaking chapel in Roseburg at 2 o clock Friday for Roseburg resident Mrs. Hill 92 who died after a fall. Born October 8 1860 near Hood River she traveled with a wagon train to the Willamette valley. She married William G Hill May 1 1869 and mothered nine children. The wagon she was born in is preserved in Eugene and she served as Queen Regent in Oregon celebration parades. Family note one son Representative Carl C Hill of Dan Creek and other relatives attend and a dinner guest list is given for a Sunday gathering.

Second Canteen Formed at Myrtle Point Under Belloni Lead
A new second canteen corps organized at Myrtle Point with 17 women enrolled led by Mrs. Belloni. First meetings occurred last Tuesday and Monday at 2 PM at the Belloni residence.
