Powers Civil Defence Test Set For Saturday Noon
Rev Seaward reports a noon test of the Powers Civil Defense warning system on Saturday July 30. The alert signal lasts three to five minutes and the take cover signal a three minute sequence. For the test both signals will be used in order, alert followed by take cover. Local families and visitors gather in Powers for summer visits and community mentions appear throughout.
