Mr and Mrs E D Hartzell of Myrtle Point were honored at a Sunday reception in the Methodist church rectory to mark their 60th wedding anniversary They were married in Kansas on December 3 1906 by Rev J Gandaig The couple has several children and relatives listed.

Olinger Home Destroyed by Fire Saturday Evening

The Jerome H. Olinger residence at 342 Reedsford Road was razed by a fire around 7 15 PM. Mrs Olinger and seven children escaped unharmed as firefighters contained the blaze with only a washing machine and dryer saved on the back porch. The family is staying with relatives and appeals for immediate donations at city hall.
