Irwin Randleman of Rasiden, son of Mr and Mrs Bitdle Randlemen formerly Myrtle Point residents, died Monday at his home in Grants Pass after an appendicitis illness. A junior at Redwood High, he excelled in athletics and scouting, served as assistant scoutmaster, and played in the band. Services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Myrtle Point chapel with Gram Carrick officiating. burial followed in the Knights of Pythias cemetery.
Myrtle alumni team led by Polat won battles in recent games at Powers arena. They defeated Fort Orford 36 to 22 after opening a 16 to 11 edge, with Saver contributing key play as the squad built momentum through three matches.
