Tragic Death From House Fire After Gasoline Escape

Mrs Laird died after a gasoline explosion during hearth cleaning at her home at 143 Friday night. The fire began when a rag soaked in gasoline ignited. she tried to smother flames with a rug and called for help before succumbing to severe burns.
