Stover sprained his arm Tuesday while attempting to stop a car that he had forgotten to set the brake. His efforts failed to prevent the vehicle from edging toward an embankment at his residence on Roseburg road, though the car suffered little damage.

Regular city council meeting held Monday evening February 4 at city hall. No notable business discussed. the council adjourned after routine procedures. An open meeting for all ex service men and their families will be held at the VFW hall on Friday evening February 14 starting at 8 pm.
