Work party draws Myrtle Point youth to service projects
The Youth Recreation Organization children gathered at the American Legion hall for a community work party. They earned funds from a school candy sale to paint a long time Myrtle Point landmark and plan future projects such as visiting nursing homes, assisting the elderly, and yard work. Sam Gordon and Bruce Lee organized the effort and seek church and civic support for fundraising and facilities.

Public school budget meeting set for February 16
