Funeral services for Mrs. Frank Hazlewood 75 died at home last Wednesday were held at Schroeder funeral chapel Monday at 200 oclock with interment in Norway cemetery. Rev E E Rosenkilde presided. She was born in Centerville Iowa daughter of L C and Lasena Cleavenger and moved to Myrtle Point in 1916 with family. She helped run a local theatre five years and was active in Eastern Star Royal Neighbors Presbyterian Ladies Aid and served as secretary of the Womens club. Survived by husband two sons E M Hazlewood of Portland and Col W A Hazlewood of Oakland and two brothers Frank Cleavenger of LaGrande and Walter Cleavenger of Los Angeles.
