Phillip Bartlett returned to Madras Saturday night to resume training as a pet after visiting his parents on Catching Creek Mr and Mrs Allie Bartlett.

The service, starting December 21, will run three round trips weekly with fixed stops and a 7 passenger bus capable of 9 passengers, parcels up to 100 pounds, and express services.
After fears of a nationwide recruiting mission, Ed O. Sempert reports a Land Cruiser and crew will stay until evening. A free moving picture show will be held at Union High School auditorium with public invitation.

A blaze damaged a residence at the Chet Peden home site just west of town this Tuesday afternoon. Neighbors reported the fire before the owner returned home, with a child and others present and a tree treat for each person.
