Drivers Injured In Friday Wreck At First And Spruce
The Friday night collision at the First and Spruce street intersection left both drivers injured. Nelson Wilson of Washington required hospital care and Roy Osborne of Coquille sustained facial cuts and was dismissed after treatment. Mrs Wilson’s seat was injured enough to bend the steering wheel. both cars suffered heavy damage.

County Ar rests A C Beckwith Five Year Sentence With Stay
County arrests A C Beckwith who pled guilty to obtaining money by false pretenses and receives a five year state penitentiary sentence with a 30 day stay and parole at 30 days. Roy Miles Crockett, 27, was arrested December 18 at Marshfield on trapping without a license and possession of deer meat in closed season. He pled not guilty on the first charge and bail was set at 100 dollars. on the second charge he pled guilty and was fined 50 dollars plus costs.

Maria Lundy died at 11 18 p m Wednesday December 33 1906 after a month long heart illness at her Myrtle Point home.
