Coos County approves 25 more CWA projects and allotments

The county court announced 25 additional CWA projects approved with work starting soon. About 275 workers are employed countywide, with winter duties including painting county shops in Coquille and Myrtle Point road work, culverts, ditches, and school property improvements funded by county and state shares.

George Parker Jr. left Roseburg hospital Tuesday afternoon after treatment for injuries from an accident a week earlier. He was atop a hill when a brake-less truck began to roll down, backing into him.
