School Opens September with Updated Bus Routes
School begins Tuesday morning September 4 with a full day. Buses will run as last year with Sitkum service starting a half hour earlier and overall schedule adjusted. Mrs. Southmayd and Mrs. Day will pick up students at Sitkum Dora Brady Lane Gravelford Fox bridge and others meet the McKinley Lee Valley bus at Fox bridge. A town bus will serve Powrile ranch and route along the river to school. Superintendent Joe Stewart will conduct a transportation survey with the state education department to identify improvement areas.
