Sudden Death of Dr S Abbott at Local Cigar Shop
Dr S Abbott of this city died suddenly last Sunday morning while seated at D L Greene's cigar store talking with friends. He appeared to gasp and expire, with a lit cigar dropping from his fingers. The body was moved to Dr Leep's office and funeral held Monday at Myrtle Point cemetery. He practiced as a veterinary surgeon in Coos county for five years and had roots in Massachusetts and Alaska.
