Hume Estate Sold to Merchants Trust Bank of Portland

The Hume estate in Curry county about fifteen thousand acres and all personal property were sold to Merchants Trust and Savings Bank of Portland led by W L Macleay. The deed filed by County Clerk Smith recorded last Wednesday shows the deal pending since June 20 1911 and lists a $1.00 per heir settlement while the Oregon Journal cites a $250 000 price.
