Workman Suffers Severe Injury Amputation At Reed's Ford
Chas Fredericks, a laborer on the Smith Powers logging road, sustained a painful injury while moving a steam shovel at Reed's ford last Saturday when a wheelrail dropped on his toe. The toe was crushed and amputated. He is under care at White Cross Hospital and may be discharged in a few days.
