Petition Filed To Organize Port Of Coquille River
The Coos County Court will hold an election on December 19 1911 to decide on creating the Port of Coquille River within Coos County. L A Roberts of Myrtle Point represented petitioners while L A Liljeqvist and E D Sperry opposed. The petition, heard November 1, was granted after argument. S D Pulford notes county funds will aid Coquille Valley horticultural societies with 200 toward spraying machines.
