Aged boy Lloyd Lehmanowsky of Myrtle Point died in Washington on the night of March 24 amid homesickness and illness. Shaye, his father’s friend, and Miss Lulu Gray relayed the news. quarantine and officer examination delayed details. His family recalls a gentle, obedient youth who left home for Portland, searching for work, and fell ill after a long journey, dying at Emergency Hospital.

Obituary Notices of Hannah Ann Fish and Sarah Coon
Hannah Ann Fish died at the home of her son in Coquille on March 26 1907. The body was brought to Myrtle Point for funeral services by Tay Thos Farklow from the Dun ikard church. interment followed on Myrtle Creek. Born in North Carolina on March 5 1830 she moved to Missouri and then crossed the plains, marrying A H Fish around 1847. The Fish family homesteaded on Myrtle Creek and later lived with her son in Coquille before her death. Surviving are two brothers in Clackamas County, two sons J G Fish and Wm A Fish, a daughter Mrs Sarah Totto, about twenty six grandchildren, twenty six great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. Her husband died sixteen years earlier. She remained connected to the Missionary Baptist church. Also Seidne Mrs Sarah Coon died March 10 1907 near Winston at age about 75, after living with her daughter Mrs D J Baker at Winston. She had been visiting her son L Coon in Dillard when she died following a sudden attack.

Night Watchman Cleared in Justifiable Shooting Verdict
The coroner's jury in Bandon exonerates Clarke the night watchman in the killing of C F Allen as self defense. Allen's family, including Mrs Allen and their son, took the body to San Francisco for burial. The officeholder at the time was Wm D Marke, not Jack Hoover. Dr. McAllen is said to have been delirious from drinking. he was a Mason.
