Enterprising Coos County Plans Special Exhibit Building

A Coos County committee selected an exhibit site near the Oregon State pavilion for a new 50 by 60 foot building. Final Summons for G M Short Dies After Long Illness

Grundy M Short died at his home Tuesday morning after a prolonged illness. Born February 18, 1867 in Platte City Missouri, he lived in Coos County since youth and was a lawyer by training. He married Daisy B Giles on February 15, 1901 and left a wife, one child, his mother, a sister and three brothers. Funeral services were held with Masonic lodge honors in Myrtle Point cemetery. He was also a member of IOOF, Woodmen and Workmen lodges.
